EVALUATION: Film Release Dates
We decided that the 29th would be a good day to open as it is break up time for Easter. March is a happy time as spring arrives, so being a comedy, audiences would like to see a feel good film. Many other comedies open at this time, and therefore this would be perfect for our film.
Current films which have been released this Easter which have the same comedic appeal to similar target audiences are 'The Croods', 'Identity Thief', 'The Big Wedding' .
These films are 'crowd pleasers' and work well.
